Early one gray morning, a jogger passing through a quiet park noticed something heartbreaking beneath an old oak tree. Sitting silently beside the trunk was a thin dog tied tightly with a worn rope, his tired eyes fixed on the empty path ahead as if he were still waiting for someone to return.
